This project presents a comprehensive spatial integration for the Wan Hai Lines Kaohsiung Port Office, encompassing the main headquarters, maintenance facility, and express shipping zone. Moving from spatial programming and 3D visualization design to the integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, the design achieves a precise alignment of aesthetics and functionality. The lobby is anchored by Neolith sintered stone cladding, utilizing a minimalist contrast of pure white and deep charcoal to draft a clean, linear design language; a metal expanded mesh ceiling paired with large-format floor tiles shapes a refined modern industrial character. In the elevator lobby, warm timber wall paneling serves as a transitional element, guiding the entry into the workplace. Within the offices, a low-saturation color palette is implemented, complemented by timber flooring to infuse warmth and alleviate the pressure of high-intensity operations. The conference and meeting rooms utilize minimalist pure white and sophisticated wood tones respectively, addressing distinct functional requirements. The overall design establishes a professional port-side workplace that balances technological sophistication with human-centric warmth.
